Felix: What inspired you to start Doe Lashes?

Jason: I was actually listening to a podcast. The really funny thing about where we’re at now is that I heard on a podcast. About two guys starting a lash brand. And they’re doing dropshipping. They bolscan: what is it and how does it work?</span>  were using a drop shipping model on Shopify, creating a store. Selling things using their Facebook ads expertise, and were able to generate a lot of revenue.

After listening to the podcast I said to myself, “Hmm, maybe I can do the same thing, and maybe I could do it my w

ay.” I don’t do dropshipping. I’ve always been a person who has developed brands, inventory around stuff and then ship it out on betting email list our own. So, I was trying to see if I was able to get into the same lash market, but doing it with a model that I was familiar with. So I spent some time developing the product. While I was on a flight to Hong Kong, I set up some appointments to meet with vendors there too just so I can at least get an idea of what I was getting myself into. So that’s what the origin of the brand .
