How to Like on LinkedIn & Developing Your KLT Factor
The KLT factor is the acronym for KNOW (know), LIKE (like), TRUST (trust), which summarize the process you must go through if you want to be hired or your services hired.
Developing your KLT factor
The KLT factor is booming. This is logical, taking into account that interpersonal relationships and trust increasingly have greater weight in business and the professional world .
As I just told you, being known, liked, and trusted are the three steps you have to take to develop your KLT factor and achieve your goals :
KNOW: First you have to make yourself known . Because if they don’t know you, it’s impossible for them to even begin to be interested in you.
LIKE: Once they know you, your potential clients or employers have to like you ; which is a way to differentiate yourself from other professionals, and to begin to attract special attention among your target audience.
How to Like on LinkedIn (LIKE)
Several of the actions that we have seen in the previous country email list section to develop KNOW are also valid to promote LIKE .
The same thing happens as in real life: when you make yourself known, it is important that you like you from the first moment. In fact, the first impression is usually very important, in such a way that KNOW and LIKE sometimes go completely hand in hand.
This also happens on LinkedIn. For example, when someone accesses your profile on this social network for the first time, they are getting to know you, yes. But from that very moment he is also evaluating (consciously or unconsciously) if he “likes you” professionally speaking.
Hence, in the previous section, when I talked about KNOW, I emphasized that you make your profile attractive, take care of your profile, personalize your background image or include multimedia content ; in order to impact, differentiate yourself and attract attention from the first moment .
That said, there are other specific actions you can take on LinkedIn to boost LIKE :
Interact with their posts
Build a valuable network of contacts and connect with them
LinkedIn is the network for professional TH Lists networking: don’t miss out on all the opportunities it offers you to create a network of contacts that meets your professional objectives and enhances your KLT factor.
But when building your network, don’t limit yourself to “collecting” contacts: relate to them:Congratulate on birthdays, promotions, professional anniversaries, etc.
Send them messages to provide them with valuable content. For example: information about an event that you think may be of interest to them; feedback on articles or presentations they have made, etc.
